Warranty Policy

At Bossi Bicycles we stand by our product and offer the following warranty terms to the original owners.

Frame and Fork
Titanium frame: 20 year warranty ensuring parts are free and void of manufacturing defects. This does not cover impacts, collisions, mistreatment or any accident producing damage outside the parameters specified in the Australian standards AS1927:1998.

Carbon frame and fork: 7 year warranty ensuring parts are free and void of manufacturing defects. This does not cover impacts, collisions, mistreatment or any accident producing damage outside the parameters specified in the Australian standards AS1927:1998.

Warranty does not cover finish, corrosion, scratches, and other blemishes as a result of general wear and tear, weathering or mistreatment.

Components
All components are covered by factory warranties and are outlined generally below. Please refer to the original supplier warranties for part specific terms and conditions or contact us directly for assistance.

  • Shimano: 3 years for Dura-ace groupsets, 2 years for all groupsets below.
  • SRAM: 2 year standard warranty
  • Campagnolo: 3 years
  • Bossi: Standard 2 year warranty excluding ‘wear’ and replaceable parts (tyres, tubes, brake pads, grips, rotors etc). ‘Wear parts’ come with a 30 day limited warranty.

Exclusions
The warranty is for manufacture defects only and does not cover damage acquired through general wear and tear, improper maintenance, installation of aftermarket parts, accidents, collisions, abuse, neglect, or improper service and maintenance. This warranty applies only to the original owner of the Bossi bicycle and is non-transferable. When submitting a warranty claim the bicycle must be inspected in an assembled ‘as is’ condition and accompanied by the original proof of purchase. The warranty does not cover return shipping costs.

Proof of Purchase
In line with consumer laws, the customer must provide proof of purchase when requesting returns. For online purchases the invoice will be sent to the email address registered by the customer during checkout. Customers purchasing instore will be provided a printed receipt and/or emailed invoice (if requested).
