    AERO TITANIUM, FULLY REALISED

Bossi’s flagship high-performance titanium road bike. Speed, durability and ride quality that define titanium.

The Strada SS brings together 3D-printed titanium junctions, hydroformed aero tube shaping and fully integrated design to create a road frame that feels sharp, direct and highly resolved. Beneath that speed-focused execution is the ride quality that defines the platform itself: durability, vibration damping and the distinctive feel that only a well-executed titanium road frame can deliver. The result is a road bike that combines speed, precision and control with the substance, character and longevity expected of titanium.

    KEY FEATURES

The Strada SS is aero-optimised to elevate the performance potential of titanium. featuring D shaped tubing and seatpost, internal seatpost clamp, and integrated front-end architecture. These features create a faster, more resolved road platform with reduced drag, sharper visual definition, and a distinctly modern titanium form.

3D-printed titanium junctions and hydroformed tube profiles allow the Strada SS to achieve more complex shapes, stronger interfaces, and cleaner transitions than conventional tube construction. Printed sections improve junction strength, enable deeper integration, and connect seamlessly into the hydroformed profiles. Linished welds refine the frame further, creating a continuous, highly resolved finish.

The Strada SS is built around road race geometry for fast, spirited riding. It delivers a confident front end, sharp handling, and a moderate performance position that balances aerodynamic intent with practical long-distance usability.

The Strada SS is built around electronic groupsets and integrated cockpit systems. It supports fully integrated one-piece and two-piece cockpits, and semi-integrated setups, giving riders a choice between maximum front-end integration and a more serviceable cockpit configuration.

Modern standards give the Strada SS practical long-term compatibility within a high-performance road platform. SRAM UDH improves hanger availability and drivetrain support, the T47 bottom bracket provides a strong and serviceable threaded interface, and clearance for modern road tyres gives riders more setup range for speed, grip, and comfort across imperfect roads.

The Strada SS uses titanium alloys according to their properties. 3AL/2.5V titanium is used through the main tube set for compliance, durability, and ride character. 6AL/4V titanium is used in the printed junctions, head tube, and bottom bracket areas to increase stiffness, under load and reduce weight.

This gives the frame direct power transfer and front-end precision, while preserving the damping and long-distance ride quality that define titanium.

    DESIGN BRIEF

Aerodynamic. Sculpted. Responsive. Integrated. Agile. Composed.

The Strada SS was developed to challenge the perceived performance gap between titanium and carbon fibre.

As major brands pushed further into aerodynamically optimised carbon road frames, traditional round-tubed titanium bikes were increasingly (and mistakenly) seen as heritage products: durable and beautiful, but not as fast, stiff, aerodynamic, or modern. The Strada SS was created to prove that titanium can be pushed much further.

The design objective was to build a titanium road platform with the stiffness, aerodynamic forms, handling precision, integration, and visual refinement expected from a contemporary performance bike, while retaining the ride quality, durability, and understated character that make titanium alluring.

That required a different approach to titanium construction. 3D-printed junctions allowed stronger, more complex tube interfaces, cleaner integration, an internal seatpost clamp, and a D-shaped aero seatpost. Hydroformed tube profiles allowed more advanced shaping without unnecessary weight gain, improving stiffness and creating a more seamless transition into the printed sections.

The Strada SS was not designed to imitate carbon. It was designed to take the performance expectations shaped by modern carbon road bikes and reinterpret them through titanium. The result is a road bike with direct power transfer, sharp handling, and strong speed retention, while preserving the ride quality, durability, and longevity that make titanium worth choosing.

Visually, the Strada SS remains deliberately restrained. The sculpted profiles, integrated front end, and linished welds create a more advanced titanium silhouette, while the fillet-welded bottom bracket area preserves a visible connection to the material’s framebuilding heritage.

The Strada SS is Bossi’s answer to the idea that titanium belongs in the past: a modern performance road platform that proves the material can be fast, precise, integrated, and deeply refined without losing the qualities that made riders choose titanium in the first place.

    RIDE FEEL

The Strada SS is designed around a performance road position without the compromises of an extreme race fit. Across the size range, the geometry places the rider in an efficient performance position without forcing excessive front-end drop or an overly stretched posture. The result is a fit position that balances aerodynamics, weight distribution, hip function, efficient power transfer, and visibility. We define performance geometry as geometry that allows the rider to generate meaningful power while reducing the fit compromises and upper-body fatigue often associated with traditional race bikes.

Steering is centred around a trail figure of approximately 57 mm, giving the Strada SS a precise and responsive front end. With moderate head tube angles and balanced front-centre, the bike is designed to hold a stable line at speed while still responding cleanly through corners, descents, and changes in direction.

The Strada SS uses 415 mm chainstays, creating a compact rear end that feels direct under acceleration while still supporting the tyre clearance, traction, and stability expected from a modern road platform. A generous bottom bracket drop gives the bike a settled feel through fast corners and helps the rider feel positioned within the bike rather than perched above it.

Hydroformed tube profiles and 3D-printed junctions improve stiffness, integration, and the visual precision expected from a modern performance road bike, while titanium’s natural damping helps manage vibration over distance. The outcome is a road bike that feels fast, controlled, and refined, with the composure to ride hard beyond perfect roads.

Bossi frames are offered in sizes 50, 52, 54, 56, 58 and 60. The right size for you will depend on more than height alone, including your proportions, flexibility, riding style and fit preferences.

    As a general guide:

50 suits smaller riders, typically around 160–168 cm

52 suits riders around 168–173 cm

54 suits riders around 173–178 cm

56 suits riders around 178–183 cm

58 suits riders around 183–188 cm

60 suits taller riders, typically around 188–196 cm

These height ranges are approximate only. Some riders may fall between sizes depending on leg length, torso length, arm length, mobility and desired riding position.

If you are between sizes, the best option will depend on how you want the bike to fit and feel. A smaller size may offer a slightly more compact and responsive fit, while a larger size may provide a little more reach and stack.

If you are unsure which size is right for you, we recommend getting in touch before ordering. We are happy to review your current bike fit, body dimensions and intended use to help guide you into the right size.
